Talon magnetic brackets
Magnetic brackets
The Talon™ magnetic bracket series offer a method to quickly and firmly attach cables, conduit, and miscellaneous equipment to a spectrum of steel curvatures and angles. The Talon™ series provides magnetic anchor points for conduit clamps, telecom snap-in fasteners, and a variety of imaginative applications.
Original Talon Series
The original Talon brackets receive bend-specific radius matching on the bracket body to meet the tangency of a measured steel curvature or bend angle. This product category ranges from the Talon1 to Talon3, with the sequence number indicating the plurality of ¾” snap-in connections that are provided along the body of the bracket. The Talon2 and Talon3 brackets have additional 3/8” holes in the center body, to receive conduit fasteners. These brackets are placed with up to 5 feet spacing and maximize snap-in cable capacity with the use of stackable snap-in hangers.
Talon FLEX Series
The Talon FLEX magnetic bracket series integrates patent-pending pivoting magnetic pad surfaces that accommodate a wide range of steel surfaces without prior knowledge of the steel curvature or bend angle. This method allows the magnets to self-level and contacts the steel in an extremely efficient magnetic contact proximity. The Talon FLEX uses compliant mechanism lamina emergence technology with a series of stainless steel magnet pads suspended by live-hinging “tendons” capable of multiple instances of setting and removal. These tendons are precision cut into the body of the bracket reducing the total assembly parts and mitigating PIM emissions.
This product category ranges from the Talon1 to Talon6, with the sequence number indicating the plurality of ¾” snap-in connections that are provided along the body of the bracket. These brackets are placed with 5 feet spacing and maximize snap-in cable capacity with the use of stackable snap-in hangers.
The upper range of Talon FLEX brackets features patent-pending Hoverbolt™ setting and removal technology. As Estech’s magnetic systems grew in size and strength, a new way of controlling the installation, positioning, and removal was needed. The HOVERBOLT™ technology features a series of nylon contact bolts as a scratch-resistant stand-off gap, temporarily reducing the magnetic force to the surface until the installer is ready for final placement. HOVERBOLTs™ are also used to lift and release the magnetic systems with control.

FLEX Technology
Patent-pending FLEX™ technology allows Estech’s Talon brackets to conform to a range of convex, concave and flat surfaces without measurements. The magnetic pads are able to pivot to the tangency of the surface profile automatically during installation, supported by stainless steel “tendons,” which allow the entire bracket body to be monolithically constructed, mitigating passive intermodulation (PIM) emissions. These magnetic brackets are a must-have for telecom installations on water towers and monopoles and avail themselves to be a stocked commodity that can be instantly available to accommodate a range of steel surface curvature and bend-angle fastening situations.
This complaint mechanism technology brings out the capability of lamina emergence and the strength of neodymium magnets.
HOVERBOLT™ Technology
Estech’s range of medium and large magnetic strength brackets now feature patent-pending Hoverbolt™ setting and removal technology. Placement, adjustment, and removal are now commanded and controlled with a ½” socket wrench even on the record-setting 70,000 lb magnetic force corral systems.
Communications
Whether you are attaching cables, conduits, or antennae, Estech has a variety of magnetic products to satisfy your installation needs.
The Talon waveguide bracket and FLEX technology are engineered and patented to address angles and curvatures commonly found on elevated steel towers and monopoles. These are placed along a cable run a minimum of 5 feet and provide the fastest installation method the industry has ever seen.
The Sidewall, HaloMAG, and TripodMAX magnetic systems provide a comprehensive means to attach a spectrum of antennae and radios to a steel surface.
